Cash McClure (Maranacook High School and #3 ranked in Class of 2022 in Maine)

I think working with Ben has been one of the best things I could have possibly done for myself. Not only did he teach me a bunch of dribble moves, drills, techniques, and ways to get off my shot, but he also taught me how to think the game and outsmart a defender. In my opinion, that’s one of the best things a trainer can do.

Every session would be personalized to me to make sure I worked on my weaknesses, and it wasn’t just him giving me a few tips on what to fix, he’d focus on specific details and show me exactly what he meant which was really helpful. He’d make sure to get the best out of you every session, always pushing you out of your comfort zone and making you the best possible player you could be. One of the coolest things that he does though is staying connected with each player he trains. He is able to develop a relationship with each player which many trainers don’t do. He is always checking in on them, going to their games, or posting about them on social media. I remember waiting to see my name on one of Coach Bens posts after a session or after a good game, and it would be such a good feeling. Thank you, Coach, for everything you’ve done for me.
